The Third "Training Course" was held!
On March 21st, the third Training Course was held.
In spite of a National Holiday "vernal equinox day" and on Saturday
in three consecutive holidays, the Kine-ie Kaikan rehearsal hall was filled
with Kine-ie members.
Some fifty-one members attended at this course, which was more than expected.
Unlike the regular summer courses, all the curriculums were unique and
the first experience to all of us, except Kineya Yoshimaru's Naga-uta singing
lesson, it was a quite meaningful and successful Training Course.
Along with the "Nagauta Singing Text", we have learned a lot of things which were new to us, such as sitting form, how to cross your legs, formal hand position, how to hold singing fan, form of picking-up and putting-down the fan, positioning of "ken-dai"(music stand), etc.
Especially, the discovery of differences between inhale and exhale methods of Nagauta style singing and western style singing were outstanding.
As we practiced properly the pronuciation and utterance of the vowels A,
I, U, E, O, we reliazed how poorly we have been singing.
Needless to say, it's impossible to master the utterance or sitting form
in just one lesson.
We need to practice in everyday lessons.
It was our great pleasure to have had this opportunity to find out and
to correct our wrong "own ways".
Thank you very much (Kine-ie Nanamari)
